ArtsCan Circle brings musical instruments, lessons, and inspiration to Indigenous youth in remote towns of northern Canada. With AKP’s support, children are given the opportunity to share their stories through multiple creative expressions.

The organization’s piano tutoring workshop in Pikangikum wrapped up in June. Morris George-Ellington, artistic director in Pikangikum, led the 23-week workshop. At the end, participants performed in a recital to showcase their acquired piano skills.
