Bringing essential medical equipment and healthcare supplies to vulnerable rural communities, in partnership with Project C.U.R.E.

HEALTH

Our global medical assistance program has been created in collaboration with U.S. nonprofit Project C.U.R.E. to bring positive health impacts to resource-limited communities around the world. Funded by AKP, containers are filled with donated medical supplies and equipment in the U.S. and shipped overseas to one of our partner facilities in Cambodia, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, where the supplies are then distributed to local hospitals, health centers and clinics.

The healthcare supplies help to enable diagnoses and treatments, as well as protect healthcare workers and improve surgical and emergency care outcomes. To date, we have funded eight containers with contents valued at around US$350,000-$400,000 per container, improving healthcare accessibility and outcomes for thousands of people in vulnerable communities.

GET INVOLVED

Guests at any of our Project C.U.R.E. locations can see entire pediatrics divisions or surgical theaters that have been transformed through the delivery of needed equipment and supplies, and nurses or doctors are often available to give personalized tours.
